From afar, the Pico de Gap truck looks like any other food truck you’d see at Artwalk, but if you come to the window, you’ll notice this truck is not only blinged out with flat screen tvs- but they give out jeans!
How’s the food? The Pico de Gap truck is the best bang for your buck. They have a taco special: 2 tacos & a drink for $1.69 or FREE with proof of same-day Gap denim purchase. They’re tacos are small, but amazing little explosions in your mouth. Choose a meat and choose your sauces and you’re ready to go. With every purchase you get $20 off a pair of jeans, and a chance to win a free pair of 1969 jeans. Chef @MarcelVigneron is board through September, bringing a variety of fresh and spicy flavors to the Gap truck.
Although their menu may change daily, the day I had Pico de Gap they had a choice of lamb, chicken, spicy tofu, and shrimp with a variety of salsas and garnishes to choose from.
My favorite part about the meal was actually the grapefruit Jarritos. I don’t even drink soda much and I really liked this flavor. It was like a better version of Squirt.
