So here’s the scoop. Bar manager Casey Irvine says Silo Bar will be softly opening the 23rd, (next Thursday evening) and officially opening the 25th (next Saturday night.) Irvine informed me that Silo has received all their liquor licenses with the city and are excited for the opening coming soon.
Silo Bar’s interior is almost completed with only the Silo sign missing behind the bar and some unpainted stools hanging out in the front lobby. Silo’s sleek black marble interior garnished with some drift wood furnishings accent might make you feel like you’re at an expensive hotel beach bar in Russia. You may have to be drunk or just really imaginative to envision this, but this was the vibe I got inside Silo, and I love it.
Irvine described Silo as, “Suits and sandals,” a bar you can slip into after work or even after a dip in your rooftop pool- it’s a Downtown bar that discriminates against no one and welcomes everyone with the love for a good hearty drink. Silo Bar will be featuring libations other than vodka as well as a small food menu. With innovative drinks such as the Shnawberry Martini (vodka, gin, berries, agave) and drink specials as $3-$4 throughout the week, I can see Silo Bar being my new favorite after-work bar. Join our countdown on FB! We’ll be counting down the days till Silo Bar opens!
